Mahila Swaraj Manch has been doing significant work for the last two decades in 40 villages of Shihor and Umrala talukas, focusing on women’s empowerment, active participation of women in Panchayati Raj, and leadership development. The Manch brings together elected women sarpanches, members, representatives of various committees, and leading women, and works towards strengthening their leadership abilities. 

 On the occasion of International Women’s Day celebrated on March 8, a special program was organized by Mahila Swaraj Manch. This day, symbolizing the struggle for women’s dignity, strength, and equal rights, aimed to recognize women's contributions in social, economic, and political spheres. Additionally, the program was celebrated with great enthusiasm and pride to mark the successful completion of 17 years of Mahila Swaraj Manch. 

 In this context, ANANDI organization began its work in Shihor in 1997. Later, in 2009, with the support of ANANDI, Mahila Swaraj Manch was established as an independent organization and has since been continuously working towards women’s development, empowerment, and leadership building in Shihor and Umrala talukas. 

We conduct sanitation drives, hygiene awareness sessions, and distribute hygiene kits to promote healthy living. These efforts are crucial in reducing preventable diseases and improving overall community health standards.

Our organization extends aid to refugees and displaced populations by providing essentials such as food, clothing, and temporary shelter. We also advocate for their rights and work towards long-term integration solutions.
